Body Work

CBS Auto Body shop incorporates a top-notch Celette Griffon frame machine that enables us to measure everything precisely and use a computer-aided interface for vehicle adjustments. Thus, we promise to revamp or return your vehicle to the factory specifications or condition before the collision, down to the most intricate details. In addition, our frame department takes care of frame diagnostics, frame replacement, and frame repair on unibody and full-frame vehicles.

The contemporary style of vehicle manufacturing is highly complex because car manufacturers focus on making the vehicle both light and safe. In order to do that, they incorporate crashworthiness and reliable protection via the use of advanced materials like High Strength Steel (1155). Thus, to work on such vehicles, a technician requires profound knowledge of these frames and unibody materials so that they can cater to vehicles of any make and model. That is why CBS is the top pick for most of the market in North Hollywood because our technicians have mastered their skills and are perfectly eligible to work on modern vehicles.

Additionally, the unibody and full-frame vehicles have crush zones on both the front and rear sides to withstand collision forces so that the driver is secure and protected. Traditional steel could retain the same strength after the crash, but an 1155 frame might not have the same strength and crush resistance post-collision. That means that an incorrect repair on HSS steel material could prove to be fatal if the car goes through a collision again. For that very reason, CBS is backed by a team of experts who have the knowledge and experience to properly treat unibody and HSS materials.

At CBS, we also use Mitchell’s Frame Data Dimensions software, which helps us measure vehicles of any make or model – helping us out with precise and reliable data on all types of cars, trucks, and vans. With the presence of this software, our customers can be ensured that our frame repairs meet the OEM’s standards.
